Topps Recycles Photos Again and Again and … (Part 3 of 8)

In addition to reusing cards in one flagship set and then another, Part 3 of this series shows more cross-product recycled photos with Bazooka Gum (a Topps product) cards and the 1967 Pin-Up Poster insert. Another interesting repeat is Bob Veale’s photo first shown on his 1962 Rookie Parade card.

What’s better than recycled photos two years in a row? … Three years in a row, of course.

Bazooka bubble gum was a popular Topps product that had smaller cards on their boxes.

Pin-Up Posters were a very nice folded insert in 1967 packs of Topps.

This time, Topps changed to the Milwaukee “M” to a Detroit “D” cap logo on the second card.

Colavito was traded to the Kansas City A’s on Nov. 18, 1963. His ’64 coin was obviously prepared
prior to that date, while his regular 1964 Topps card was updated and shows him with K.C.
