Monbouquette was a four-time All-Star who enjoyed an 11-year major league career with four different teams – primarily the Red Sox. He was a regular in Boston’s rotation from 1960-65, posting a 20-10 record in 1963. He hurled a no-hitter in 1962 and went 114-112 lifetime, with an ERA of 3.68. … Bill appeared in Topps sets from 1959-69.

Heffner, nicknamed “Butch,” had a much shorter and less successful career. He pitched from 1963-66 and again in 1968 for three clubs – Boston, Cleveland and California. In 114 games (31 as a starter) he compiled a record of 11-21, with a lifetime 4.51 ERA. … Bob was included in three Topps sets from 1964-66.

Dinelson Lamet ……………………. Cal Quantrill

Lamet has spent parts of seven big league seasons pitching for the Padres, Rockies, Red Sox and Dodgers. In 121 games in the majors, he has compiled a 17-24 record, with a 4.63 ERA. Lamet’s best year was in the Covid-shortened 2020 season. In a dozen starts, he posted a 3-1 record along with an ERA of 2.09 over 69 innings.

In 161 games, Quantrill has a record of 43-34, with an ERA of 4.07. His best season was 2022 for the Guardians when he started 32 games, had a 15-5 record, with a 3.38 ERA. Quantrill has also pitched for the Padres and Rockies. His father, Paul, played 14 years in the majors (1992-2005), leading the league in appearances four years in a row.
